new hair do's!!

Ha ha - th is was too funny to pass up . . . . . Anyone need a hair cut?? Jimmy does not allow me to cut his hair anymore . . . . . because I was too rough with the clippers . . . so instead he chooses to have Adrian do the job. He said for some reason . .. . his neck hurt . . . . this is what we found when he turned around!!!!! Ha ha . . . . I'm guessing Adrian is no longer employeed . . . . . and Jimmy will be looking for a new hair cutter!!
YIKES - I got a new do yesterday .. . . and I kind of feel like Barbie . .. . . first the kids said it was the color of a strawberry . . . . but today I heard it described as "pink" highlights. Hope people don't think I was shooting for the teenage look . . . .. I'm sure it will fade fast . . .. but in the mean time . . . . here I am with pink hair!

DJ

Update on DJ:

DJ is still paitiently waiting at Fort Sam Houston, Texas to beging her AIT training. She has been there since September 20th. She is hoping to begin her classes on the 26th. At this time she does not have an address, so until she gets settled, she can't receive mail. She also has a new cell phone number, so if anyone is interested, just call me for the number. She was excited that she was able to wear civilian clothes for the first time since July this last weekend when she had an off base pass. We are excited that she will be home for Christmas and can't wait to see her~

Fall evening

Wisconsin is full of suprises, we woke up yesterday to snow and it continued all day. Most of the snow has melted now; but that didn't stop Mateo from sporting his new winter jacket and snow pants!! The kids raked up a pile of leaves and had fun jumping in them! Wish I could be that excited for the cold weather!

Weekend

Raquel just finished her swim season this last weekend with the conference meet being swam in Wausau. Although the team's record didn't end up so hot with only winning one meet, her personal records continued to improve through out the season. She ended up with the second highest free style speed in the group - which is very exciting as the #1 girl will be in the high school next year!!
The swim group at McDonald's after the meet!
This last weeken we made a trip tot he cabin. Vanessa is becoming a sharp shooter and shot her first squirrel. Her and Gavino had fun shooting at targets. They love spending time with Grandpa . . . . . and look forward to hunting anything they can with him.
